At eighteen, I have started to understand that growing up means making choices that are not always easy. Last year, I had to decide whether to stay in my hometown or move to another city to study at a university. My family and friends were important to me, and the thought of leaving everything familiar made me nervous. At the same time, I knew that this opportunity could help me build the future I wanted. For several weeks, I thought carefully about my decision. I wrote down the advantages and disadvantages, talked to people I trusted, and tried to imagine my life in both situations. In the end, I decided to leave. It was not an easy decision, but I do not regret it. Moving taught me to be independent, responsible, and confident in myself. I learned how to solve problems without always asking someone else for help. Now I understand that being brave does not mean having no fear. Sometimes, being brave means feeling afraid but still taking a step forward.

When I was a little girl, I thought dreams were something that happened only at night. Now, at eighteen, I understand that a dream is something that gives you a reason to wake up every morning. My biggest dream is to travel around the world and discover places I have only seen in pictures. I want to walk through the streets of Paris, watch the sunset by the ocean, see the lights of Tokyo, and meet people whose lives are completely different from mine. I want to learn their stories, try new food, and understand different cultures. But my dream is not only about travelling.
